Hey now guys, my name is Alec, and if you're wondering what this site is for, it's here for two reasons. #1, its here to help give people a little more joy and excitement in their days. This is a jambands trading site that helps put that little extra something in a trade.
Have you ever made a trade, just set it up, burned the discs, and sent them out? I've gotten packages like that, and true, it's always fun to get some phat tunes, but isn't it always a more fun and memorable experience when you find something completely unexpected or out of nowhere in the package? This is a community that expects the unexpected. To join, not only will you get hooked up with lots of good traders, but you'll get lots of surprises along the way!
One part of being a GTB member is sending something extra in every package. Here are a few cool things you could send:
Now, if you'd like to report a good, (or heaven forbid) bad trader, just drop me an email with the subject " 'Name'/'P-Hook login name'/'e-mail address' is a good/bad trader". That's it. Then, once a week (or so, depending how busy I am) I'll update the member page, keeping track of how many good trades everyone's made, therefore adding to a community of honest traders. If we're dealing with a bad trader, have a story inside the email telling what happened, so at least there's reasonable proof that the person you're reporting really is a bad trader. Please don't report a bad trader until a month has passed and you haven't recieved your CDs/tapes/MDs/DATs etc.
Sign up for my e-group below. I'll send out updates, and you can post suggestions, comments, and anything else on it. This can help spread the word of the community.

The second, and probably most important reason the site is here is to assure good trades. If you're a GTB member, than people will be able to trust you're a good trader. Also, every time you have a good trade with someone, you can ask the person you traded with to shoot me an email, and I can put a check next to your name, showing the whole community visually how many good trades you've made. This could really make your reputation great, and people would have no fear trading with you! There have been lots of bad trader posts/alerts coming up lately, and this could help to eliminate some.
So, you think this is a cool idea, and you'd like to take part? It's not too hard to join. All you have to do is shoot me an email, and I'll put you up on the users page. There is one catch, however. You have to provide one good trader reference. They don't have to be someone you threw in something extra with, just someone's email address, name, and Phishhook login, to prove you're an honest trader. Third, you can put a smaller Good Trade Brigade logo on your page, to show others that you are a good trader, and you like to throw in something extra. You can also link it to this page, so others who don't know what it is can find out. That's it!
I'll try to update this page as much as possible, and keep everyone informed of what's happening with the site on the general discussion boards on Phishhook. I think this could turn into a great community with a little feedback from everyone! Trade away!
